If you want to become security guard in america then you have to do two most important things. first decide in which state to work, Because all states have different requirements for license and second you may have to complete a minimum training program from certified security guard training school.
In state of Wyoming government officials does not ask for any specific training or license but city level police department of law department may have some types of regulations. So if yo are placed in Wyoming and want to work there as security guard then first go to the local attorney office or police department and ask them about any particular rule of becoming security guard in there city.
Second thing you can do is that you can go to the office of an Security agency which is registered and legal and which hires and places new security guard officers and ask them about requirements they need.
Some basic requirements which are almost required in every state-
Age- You must be more than 21 years at the time of application for armed security officer or guard.
Citizenship- You must be citizen of US or you must have US work visa.
Physical /Mental condition- You should be physically fit and strong, Mentally sound and competent
Moral character- Should hold good moral character.
Addiction- Free from Alcohol dependence, Free from narcotics addiction or any other kind of addiction.
Disability- Free from any kind of physical disability which may prevent you from giving your full performance.
Criminal back ground checkup- Criminal back ground should be absolutely clean.
